In the 1960s, Arthur Johanson founded Johanson Removals in Umina Beach on the Central Coast. In 1985, son Garry and his son Chris took over the reins.
The business moved from the Central Coast, changing its name to Lake Macquarie Removals, and has been the favoured moving company for Morisset and surrounding areas ever since.
As the western side of Lake Macquarie continued to grow, the current business name, Westlake Removals, became appropriate.
Today, having worked together as a team for more than 20 years, Garry and Chris now operate a fleet of specialised Pantech trucks.
